Rapeseed meal is a non-GM source of protein, well established for animals, particularly for the livestock industry, such as cattle, and has the added benefit of reducing the EU import dependency on soybean meal.
The meal is incorporated in farm animal feed up to 15% for chickens, 20% for pigs. In cattle production, milk and meat, incorporation is possible up to 15% in the production concentrates and up to 75% in nitrogen correctors.
