Champlor manufactures various products from locally grown rapeseed for human food, animal feed, energy and various industrial sectors.
Champlor puts at the heart of its strategy the safety of products and people, as well as the quality of its products. The Champlor site, located in Baleycourt, has since its early days pushed a quality approach. The various certifications passed in recent years (ISO 9001 - 14001 - 22000 - 50001, Kosher, GMP +, 2BSvs) have enabled Champlor to win the trust of its customers.
The relatively new production units have benefitted from regular investments, such as the change of the distillation column during the 2016 annual maintenance, which allows Champlor to offer a wider range of products that meet current market standards.
Concerned about its environmental footprint, Champlor has set up an energy management (ISO 50001). Sourcing rapeseed locally is key for the Baleycourt plant, since it naturally benefits from a rapeseed production basin from a relatively small perimeter (Grand Est Region, Bourgogne Franche-Comté Region). These locally harvested seeds guarantee a production without GMOs, of French origin.
In addition to sustainability initiatives for the use of biofuels, Champlor was one of the first French players to measure the GHG reductions of its products. Today Champlor also supports agri-food manufacturers on sustainability issues.
Each of the segments on which Champlor distributes its products has its own peculiarities and specific needs. Thus Champlor is constantly listening to the needs of each of its customers and tries to meet the different demands.
