Champlor produces rapeseed vegetable oil. This oil is used in the food industry for cooking, the manufacture of food products such as biscuits, brioche, salad dressings, margarines, sauces and condiments as well as canned products. Rapeseed oil is also destined for food oil packers/bottlers.
Rapeseed oil is widely used not only because of its high content of Omega-3 and Omega-6 essential fatty acids that the human body can not synthesize, but also because of its high content of unsaturated fatty acids and its low levels of saturated fats. Replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats in a diet can reduce blood cholesterol levels.
