Rapeseed Meal

Rapeseed meal is a well-established source of non-GMO protein for animals, particularly for the livestock industry, such as cattle, and has the additional benefit of reducing import dependency soybean meal.

Incorporation in feed for livestock up to 15% for broilers, 20% for pigs. In cattle production, milk and meat, incorporation up to 15% in production concentrates and up to 75% in nitrogen correctors.

Glycerine

Glycerin is easy to handle and is non-corrosive. It can provide energy value at lower cost compared to other ingredients. It can also reduce the production of dust.

For animal feed, the maximum incorporation rate <10% of a standardized feed / supplement standardized to 88% dry matter, ie 12% moisture content.

Rapeseed Oil

Raw rapeseed oil is a source of energy suitable for most animal species. Rapeseed oil has a good fatty acid profile:

  • 60% monounsaturated fatty acids, mainly oleic acid
  • 30% polyunsaturated fatty acids including 20% linoleic acid and 8.5% alpha-linoleic acid, precursors respectively of omega 3 and omega 6 essential fatty acids because they are not metabolized by the body they must to be brought by the diet.

Rapeseed oil is also a source of vitamin E, the crude oil is rich in alpha tocopherol with a content of about 220 mg per kg of oil.
