Lecithins, phytosterols, tocopherols and fatty acids
Refining rapeseed oil concentrates various compounds already contained in the plant. Champlor offers partners the opportunity to use these lecithin-rich concentrates as phytosterols, tocopherols or fatty acid mixtures.
Lecithin is an excellent natural emulsifier. It is used in a large number of food applications such as chocolate recipes, but also in spreads to improve the homogeneity of preparations.
Phytosterols help to reduce blood cholesterol levels, but natural sterols also have applications in medicine and cosmetics.
Tocopherols are antioxidants. Champlor offers fatty acid concentrates, particularly rich in Alpha and Gamma tocopherols which are 2 forms of natural vitamin E. Tocopherols are also used as food preservatives (E306 to E309).
